University OF Kelaniya

 The university of kelaniya began in 1875 by Rathmalane Sri Sumangala Thero as a Vidyalankara Pirivena.In the 1959 vidyalankara pirivana become a vidyalankara university,
 later vidyalankara university become a university of ceylon in 1972 ultimately the university of kelaniya in 1978.
        universitry of kelaniya chancellor is Tripitaka Vageswacharya , Mahopadya , Panditha ,the most venerable welamitiyawe Darmakirthi Sri Kusala Dhamma Thero.
